Welcome to Langlois Lodge - a newly converted residence located in the heart of a bird sanctuary on the South Coast of Kwa-Zulu Natal. Langlois Lodge, with its welcoming and spacious interior, is situated on a 4000 m² property that overlooks the beautiful and tranquil fauna that is indigenous to the south coast.

The ambiance is elegant, yet gently understated. The furnishings are an eclectic mix, with pieces from both Indonesia and South Africa providing focal points. While smaller objects from local and various African craftsmen add an understated ethnic theme without being overpowering. This simple, yet clean approach will help you relax in a stress free environment.

The separate guest house is simple yet refreshing. Neutral tones are used to create a calm relaxing environment with touches of orange to add a bit of spice. The large open plan room provides ample space, yet still remains private and cosy.

Each room has an en suite bathroom and private lounge area with tea and coffee facilities. The large pool is at your disposal 24 hours a day. The bright welcoming atmosphere ensures privacy with access to the expansive indigenous and tropical garden that attracts a wide array of common and rare birdlife.

Close by lies The Championship Selborne Golf Club, Luxury Spa and Restaurant as well as the impressive Lynton Hall, reputed to have one of the finest restaurants in South Africa and headed by the award-winning master chef, Richard Carstens. These are all within easy access of our bed & breakfast.

Set in the heart of the sub-tropical birding paradise of the South Coast, Langlois Lodge offers a warm welcome. Relax in tranquil, spacious and tastefully decorated surroundings.

Directions

Take the N2 towards Port Shepstone, it's about 25-30 minutes from Durban airport. Turn off to Pennington which is after Scottburgh and clearly marked. At the end of the road turn right where the sea is directly in front off you. Drive another 7-10 minutes and you will come to Pennington. Turn left, pass the ATM machine and shop, continue down Pennington Drive. When the road splits take the right hand turn and then the first left. First wooden automated gates on the left.
