Kia Ora Beach House is a spacious double-storey house comprising four en-suite bedrooms and two bunk rooms (one with four double bunks and one with two). It sleeps twenty people and is ideally suited to accommodate eight adults and 12 children i.e. four families. The kitchen, dining and living area is all open plan and leads onto a large wooden deck with magnificent sea views, and a braai area overlooking the beach completes the picture. There is a lock up garage for one vehicle and safe parking for others within the fully fenced property. The house is fully alarmed with local armed response. The house comes fully equipped with family size fridge-freezer, bar-fridge, stove with oven and microwave. All linen is provided but you will need to bring your own towels. There is a T.V. with satellite dish, however you will need to bring your own DStv card.

Bazley Beach is a very quiet area, situated 80 kilometres south of Durban, approximately half way between Scottburgh and Hibberdene. The small community is off the beaten track with unspoilt, quiet beaches and abundant bird life, and is best suited to those wishing to escape busy city life. The only commercial development is a cafe at MacNicols Caravan Park; however a supermarket, chemist and post office are available at Scottburgh, 20 kilometres away.

Surrounding Area: Shopping malls, doctors, chemists, restaurants and a post office are situated in Scottburgh, which is 20 kilometres north of Bazley. One can choose to play a round of golf either at the Umdoni Golf Course in Pennington or the upmarket Selbourne Golf Estate. Restaurants can be found at Pennington and Rocky Bay which are approximately 10 minute's drive away or one can book in for some pampering at the Selbourne Golf Estate health spa. Deep sea charters can be booked at Rocky Bay.

Caretaker: The house is serviced daily by the caretaker who lives on the property. The above rate quoted to you includes his services to clean the house and wash dishes etc, but if you require him to work on a Wednesday, a public holiday or the last weekend of the month, which is his time off, we will require you to notify us in advance and pay him direct at R80 per day.

The Beach is a 600m walk away or one can take a two-minute drive to Ndasingane beach, which is an exclusive beach (permit provided) offering an ideal playground for snorkelling, surfing and angling. The protected bay offers ideal swimming conditions for children and the numerous rock pools offer hours of amusement.

Rates

Rates for 2009: R2000 per night with R1500 refundable deposit.
Rates for 2010: R2400 per night with R2000 refundable deposit
Rates for 2010 over world cup i.e. 11th June - 11th July: R4000 per night with R2000 refundable deposit

In each case to secure reservation we require the refundable deposit plus 50% of the total charge, the balance to be paid no later than 14 days prior to arrival.

Conditions: We regret that no pets are allowed on the property and we do not allow same-sex parties (i.e. an all-male/female group) to hire the beach house. Rates are subject to change without prior notice.
