Description

Bella Vista Country House and Conference Centre are situated in the Eston region of Kwazulu-Natal, half an hour’s drive from Pietermaritzburg and one hour from Durban. It is situated on a working cane and beef farm and has amazing scenic views of rolling cane fields towards the distant hills and down into the Gwahumbe valley. Tala Private Game Reserve is a mere 10 km away.

It's many features and activities include a swimming pool, a tennis court, marked walks, bass dams and mountain biking.

Bookings can range from self-catering, bed and breakfast to full board. We offer weekend and mid week specials.

The house consists of five rooms, all en-suite, a rondavel en-suite and the Ntimbankulu suite (consisting of two rooms en-suite, private lounge with fireplace, dining room and kitchen). We can comfortably accommodate sixteen people at one time. We offer the choice of twin or king-sized beds in all our rooms.

The food is excellent and the hostess, Sally, can prepare three course dinners, light lunches, tea eats or a lip-smacking breakfast. We have a selection of set menus or sit down and plan a menu to your specific requirements. Why not enjoy a special weekend with us with a meal out on the farm at sunset?

Ideal venue to book out entirely for intimate weddings or other family / group functions or getaways.

Functions:
We can cater for small functions (50 persons) in three different venues:

Canecutters Pub for intimate functions.
Umsenge Dining Room for formal functions.
Nguni Conference room for larger functions.

We are more than happy to organize any function that suits your style or budget.

Conferences
The conference centre offers comfortable air-conditioned facilities and caters for groups of up to thirty. Equipped with whiteboard, flip-charts, overhead projector, pull-down screen and TV.

Directions

Take the Camperdown T/off and turn Left at the top of the off-ramp. Travel 3km to a T-junction, then turn Left and travel 15.8km till the crossroads. (See the Caltex Garage on the Left) Turn Right at crossroads and travel 5-6kms and turn Left at Bella Vista Country House's sign (on your Left) onto the driveway.
