It is so convenient to stroll down the path for a swim, a walk along the coast or angling off the rocks. And, should the sun be too hot, to return to the shade of the large Red and White Milkwoods or to relax at the swimming pool with a good book. In the evening one can relax on one's private balcony with a sundowner and watch the moon rising across the Indian Ocean. There is no better way to unwind and enjoy the seaside than this. Oslo Beach is situated in the heart of the popular Hibiscus Coast - between Port Shepstone and Shelly Beach, one hour drive from Durban International Airport. Put on the map by the Norwegian Settlers who landed at the Umzimkhulu River Mouth in 1882 to begin farming on their 100 acre allotments. This is South Africa's highly rated beach destination as the east coast is washed by a warm sea and has beautiful weather even in the middle of winter.
