Stephward had its origins back in 1989 when STEPHen Van Belkum & HoWARD Eades bought land to create a holiday getaway for
themselves from Johannesburg, where they were in the clothing design & manufacturing business which they relocated to the South Coast.

In 1999 after a lot of love and dedication in creating a perfect mix of old world charm with a new age style, they ventured to open a designer clothing studio, restaurant, specialised nursery & luxury accommodation.

Stephen & Howard's love for tranquility, ambience and quality made Stephward mature into a Pearl of the South Coast, ideally situated within walking distance of the warm Indian Ocean (1.5 km) and within reach of several renown golf courses, fishing spots, scuba diving, horse riding etc. Outings can be arranged. 

 Restaurant

Our restaurant is both indoor or Al fresco under the enclosed pool deck, or Tea Garden, which offers teas, cakes quiches , delicious scones, Coffees, infused teas etc.
Lunches are served daily either a la carte or from our light Lunch/Bar Menu

Engagement Couples, Anniversary/Birthday Dinners are especially prepared for if we now in advance. Flowers can also be arranged

Taxi/Coach pick up and return services can be arranged

Sunday Lunch Special
Our Sunday Lunch is a set Menu which is plated and served by waiters. We start with a Soup & Melba Toast, a Fish Course, two Roasts of the day and Stephens Designer Oxtail, Veg & Roast Potatoes , then a choice between two desserts. This is at a special low price

Accommodation
Accommodation in Uvongo on Kwa-Zulu Natal's South Coast

We offer luxury accommodation including a Honeymoon Suite. 

All our accommodation is situated next to our private lake with secure parking behind. All our rooms are bathroom en suite with air-conditioning hot/cold, ceiling fans, fridge, T.V's, Tea/Coffee facilities and hair dryers. 

Morning breakfasts are served at the pool deck. Information and help on day trips & surrounding places of interest including sea/land adventures, can be obtained from our fully licensed bar

* Honeymoon suites comes with complimentary champagne + Fruit.
For large groups for weddings, conferences etc. extra accommodation can be provided through our B&B Network at affordable prices
