Relax and Unwind, whether you`re a fisherman, surfer, swimmer or sunbather our beach has it all - protected tidal pool for kids, rolling granny`s pool and the crash of the big waves. A super kiosk and modern ablutions. Lifeguards and shark nets keep you safe - you can even have your car washed by our friendly locals. R99 per person.

The Tweni Waterfront lies on the North bank of the Umtentweni Lagoon, 2km North of Port Shepstone. We are on the R102 and only 100m from the beach. (No roads to cross!)

The resort boasts a full a la carte restaurant for the family. Outside facilities include a lovely swimming pool overlooking the lagoon, kiddies trampoline, and an 18 hole mini golf course. Our beach provides excellent fishing and surfing. Next door is Tweni Main beach that has year round lifeguards and a unique "granny pool" that is extremely safe to swim in.

The Tweni Waterfront has four two bedroom family rooms and three double rooms. All rooms are en suite with TV, fans and tea and coffee facilities. The rooms are all on the second storey with stunning views of the lagoon and ocean. The resort offers bed only, bed & breakfast and dinner, bed & breakfast options.

Directions

Travelling South on the N2 from Durban. Take the Port Shepstone North / Old ST. Faiths offramp (left off the toll road). Travel +/- 1km towards the sea. At the traffic lights, turn left. Pass the Caltex petrol station on your L.H.S. and we are the next building on the R.H.S on the lagoon.
