Description

Situated just a 35 minute drive inland from Port Shepstone, Lake Eland offers 7 self-catering wooden chalets. These two-bedroomed chalets are situated on a dam and visitors can fish from their own deck while they braai and relax, watching for antelope that may come down to drink. All are five sleepers, fully equipped and serviced with much to offer our guests.

Enjoy the spectacular views of the Oribi Gorge on the Reserve, go for a game drive in your own car, visit the caves which are typical of those inhabited by the San people, or even cross the breathtaking Suspension Bridge - all included in your stay. A paradise for bird watchers too. Abundant wildlife (plains game) at your doorstep.

No TV's - just peace and tranquillity. Camping also available. Our tea-garden offers breakfasts and light meals. Browse in the curio shop for those special gifts to take home. Horse rides and game drives on request at additional cost.

Close enough to town to spend a day at the beach or the shopping malls or visit Leopard Rock for lunch.

Enjoy the cosy feel of our fully equipped and serviced, self-catering Log Cabins. Each cabin has its own secluded braai facility and verandah overlooking the dam.

We also have a camping and caravaning site with electricity provided, ablution and washup facilities with hot showers.
